We feel proud of the heritage and tradition that Squires has built over the years, thanks to all those who have contributed over the past 15 years. Today, Squires stands as one of Burlington’s most prestigious institutions and a symbol of Traditional British & Indian pub food. As a foodie myself, I am passionate about serving good quality food in a very friendly environment and our attempt at Squires is just that.
Opened in 2007, over these years Squires Public House has served many loyal guests their favourite food and drink, and has become more than just a place to have a meal, but a gathering spot to celebrate friends and family.
We are dedicated to the craft of home cooking, and endeavour to bring to you all of the classics a good Public House has to offer, but also unique and different offerings from other gathering places around the world! Food is our passion and we are proud to feature an in-house baker, who makes many of our buns and breads—including our Naan bread for our delicious curries—from scratch in our own kitchen.
We use only fresh ingredients in our dishes which are sourced locally. Fresh poultry, scratch sauces, fresh locally-sourced vegetables and a true aversion to anything frozen are what we will continue to stake our reputation on. We are so fortunate to have an excellent Kitchen and Serving staff, who not only share my passion for great food and great service, but also execute it each and every day for our valued guests.
